Dear Board Members of the Canadian Anglo Club,
Hibernian Football Club would like to wish you all the best for your 60th Anniversary. We wish you the best of luck. Warm Regards Hibernian Football Club
Congratulations on your 60th anniversary! I am pleased to hear that you have a few Barry Town football fans in your Club. We actually have a Canadian playing for us - Jeff MacLean - who comes from Toronto and whose father also played high level Canadian football. Barry Town have been promoted this year to Division 1 and we are getting back to where we belong - at the top of Welsh football! Congratulations again!

Please pass on congratulations from NEWI CEFN DRUIDS AFC in Wales to the Canadian Anglo Club on reaching their 6oth Anniversary. It is good to know we have fans spread far and wide. I have just finished writing to a fan in New Zealand which goes to show that football has no boundaries even in Welsh football. I’m sure you have some lively debates among supporters of many clubs at some odd hours but I do know it is worth it (although my wife may not think so)! Best wishes for the next 60 years and have a good party. Please feel free to contact me in the future. Best wishes, Brian Mackie (Chairman)

To: The Canadian Anglo Club

Over the years, there have been many connections between Canada and Ipswich Town Football Club. Craig Forrest, Frank Yallop, our recently retired Club Captain, Jason De Vos, who has just returned to Canada to appear on CBC as a football pundit and young Town winger Jaime Peters who is still playing for Canada. Canada therefore has a special place on our hearts. On behalf of all the players, management and staff at Ipswich Town Football Club, I would like to wish you a very happy 60th Anniversary celebration and the best of wishes for many future years of watching football in the middle of the night! Yours sincerely, Camilla

In this year of our 120th Anniversary, we would like to pass on our congratulations to the Canadian Anglo Club on reaching your 60th Anniversary! We hope that everyone involved enjoys the celebrations and to all The Saddlers' supporters out there, Jimmy Mullen, the players and staff here at the Banks's Stadium would like to say an extra special hello! Best wishes, WALSALL FOOTBALL CLUB

Greetings to the Canadian Anglo Club from Millwall Football Club in England. We would like to wish you a very enjoyable 60th Anniversary celebration. We do, of course, have significant Canadian connections through a former player of ours Derek Possee who has been involved in coaching and the administration of Canadian soccer for some years now, based in Vancouver. As a result of this relationship, Millwall toured that part of Canada in 2004, shortly after reaching the FA Cup Final, and two Canadian players, Josh Simpson and Adrian Serioux were signed and played for Millwall for a spell. Keep your eyes open for any more rising stars for us. All the Best

Paul Sturrock has asked me to pass on to the Canadian Anglo Club the very best wishes of himself and the players on the occasion of your 60th anniversary. Luggy is delighted that we have a fan-base in Windsor, Ontario. He is very fond of Canada, and is a regular visitor…to Vancouver. Regards, Rick Cowdery Head of Communications, Plymouth Argyle Football Club Congratulations on reaching the significant milestone of 60 years. As a club of over a hundred years standing ourselves, we can appreciate all of the hard work and endeavour that goes into making a successful organisation tick. It’s great to hear that your members follow English football so closely from across the ocean. We are of course doubly delighted to learn that some have the very good sense to cheer on The Whites!

It takes a great deal of determination (and some would say a very small dose of madness) to follow football passionately from the other side of the world. However, we greatly appreciate your continued support. It is the continuing efforts of small bands of dedicated fans that really go a long way to helping to raise the profile of clubs like our own all over the world. On behalf of the club, please accept my congratulations and I hope your 60th anniversary party is a great success and a night to remember. Best Wishes Tommy Guthrie, Fulham Football Club
